Another Idiotic Rice Statement: Aug 6 PDB "Not Threat Reporting" |
|
God, she's a stupid shit!
I just saw the replay of Roehmer questioning her. She states that the Aug 6 PDB "wasn't specific...this was not threat reporting...this was a historic overview."
So, if that's true, what are we to make of the numerous color-coded alerts regularly put out by the bush administration since 9/11? When have these raised alert levels EVER been accompanied by SPECIFIC targets/threats? They are all generalized, as in "lot's of chatter," "a target overseas," "maybe something at the airports."
If we are to believe Rice, then we should be ignoring today's color-coded system as well as it - like the Aug 6 PDB - never contains any SPECIFIC information.
What a fucking boob.

3. Yes, but it didn't say what floor of the WTC would be hit. |
|
So how could they possibly have done anything?

4. Actually, it gave the floors to be hit, but the time of day was off. |
|
In addition, no specific info given as to what the Special of the Day was to be at Windows on the World.
Pretty nebulous...

I believe her answer was something like "The statement 'Bin Laden Determined To Strike In US' does not necessarily mean the United States will be attacked.'" :wtf:
I think that if you sedated Condi and removed the back of her head, you'd find wires and spark plugs. How else could one person put up with so many lies and still retain their sanity?

17. and that use of the future tense- "determined" |

is perfectly normal in an historical document that deals primarily on what has happened in the past

7. Then it's still an excuse |
|
Such as:
We didn't know if the someone was foreign or a US citizen, so we didn't know whether to talk to FBI and CIA, but they were both working on what they were supposed to be working on.
or
The previous administration had eight years to do something about "someone."

9. Meaning of the word "warning" not as interesting as meaning of "is" &"sex" |
|
I noticed that few mentioned the 2 years we spent on the meaning of words in the 90's
now Rice has a problem with the meaning of the word "warning"
And Clarke wanted to and asked Condi if he could brief Bush on bin Laden, Condi said no, and Condi's answer to "Did Clarke ask to brief the Pres" is "He did not ask me to brief the Press"
And the Media treat this slime as credible?

15. I thought she handled that bomb skillfully |
|
Imagine having to state, before tens of millions of viewers, in front of the families of people who were murdered that day, and knowing that her boss was watching, and *have* to say, because she was under oath, "Uh, I think it was called "Bin Laden is Just About to Hit the United States With Something Very Very Very Big Soon."
Dr Rice HAD to feel very very very stupid saying that.
I commend the 9/11 families for not slapping the shit out of her when they heard that.
Many of us in the "analysis" clique of DU have been aware of this memo and its contents since the late Fall of 2001, but to hear her say this at this hearing in front of the families was still flabbergasting.
The August 6 memo is going to be very important. Condi tried to brush it off as some silly little laughable Chicken Little conspiracy theory piece of baloney, but the memo is a lot more, um, specific and disturbing than she let on today.
Will they release it, or no? It's dynamite, and bound to be extremely damaging to them either way.
But the real smoking gun is the secret energy policy meetings. That's why Cheney *has* to hide them.
