Does Bush Go To Church?

I don't recall ever seeing a picture of the "Born Agains" with Bible in hand going to church.
Is church on the agenda for this Easter ?
Will the entire family be attending their regular church in Crawford?

"The family that prays together, stays together."

1. Does Bush believe in evolution?
Has Bush ever made a public statement about evolution and creationism? Just curious.

4. No
He's a fundamentalist Christian, he doesn't believe in evolution. He believes that the Bible is to be taken literally.

10. Of course he doesn't believe in evolution
He judges by his own experience and he's never evolved from being a simian.

No actually he doesn't
I read it in either GQ, Vanity Fair, or some other similar magazine.

It was a rather eerie article.

I'll try and find it.

25. Remember the mass for the victims of 911
I will never forget how the entire mob family acted in church. Remember how the wicked witch acted when sonny boy and pickles entered the church? Anyone who acts like that, IMO, has NO respect for being in God's house at all, which tells me the entire mob doesn't attend, but "says" they do in order to attract the christians into thinking they're religious bunch. That entire gang could care less about church, about anyone dying because of their own interests, and can rant on w/ their holyroller creatures like Falwell...they're the biggest liars going. There's been enough headlines with their kids and other family members actions, drinking, drugs, affairs/adultery, theft, and troubles of all kinds, there's no way in hell these people attend church for the true reason.

It isn't likely that there IS a Church of Satan in a little
town like Crawford, Texas.

I remeber seeing Bill & Hill going to church, Tipper & Al - of course The Carters.

That whole bizness about Bush being a Christian man is just another lie.

sure....If there are no cameras, what's the point? I don't guess the second Saviour needs to hear a homily.

13. I asked myself the same question several months back.
On the WH website I did find some references to the services the Booshes attend at Camp David and there were a couple of pictures of him with Laura leaving services. It does seems though that these pictures and references are probably as phony as the Thanksgiving turkey in Iraq. I would love to really find out but time, geography and money don't allow me to really find out.

Urban legends had an interesting letter about him attending St. John's Episcopal church, but I thought he was Methodist.

Lamar Alexander is a Republican, right?

I wonder how many times Bush has returned to that church?

I just find it so odd that photos of such a Christian President have not been taken at church! All of our Presidents are photographed leaving church, but not this one.

I really want to explore this further because if they are going to make such a deal about Kerry not being able to take communion at the Catholic Church, I want the scoop on Bush.

16. Googles

I did a googles by entering
George W. Bush
attending church

There was an article that said that he was an alter boy once. It goes on to say that Protestant churches don't have alter boys.

Another lie?

17. grew up Episcopal
Bush grew up Episcopal. Laura turned him to Methodism.
Episcopals do have acolytes which could be easily confused with "altar boy". My own sons do the acolyting and each has a different name for the role they do like crucifer, first torch, etc.

why did the cameras always follow the Clinton's every Sunday when they attended church? Nobody cared if they attended church or not.

Why doesn't the press hold their lying feet to the fire on this issue?
This scum is trying to bring Christianity to the entire world and he is not serving as a Role Model!!

All of the Born Agains that I know carry their Bibles with them every where and attend church EVERY Sunday.

27. They'll probably go to church on Easter for the photo op
Then they'll have a nice photo of the bushes in church that they'll use repeatedly to make it seem like they're always in church.
