Criticize Iraq or Bush To GOP Type & Get Attacked Personally
Boy did I learn this last week - When the contractors were charred and hanging from the bridge, I had to send the photo w/ a comment to a republican I know. We don't speak any longer due to Bush the uniter.

Yikes, I got a reply from this person and was called several unkind names and the ususal, you're hateful. I was told that I was setting a bad example to my son. The ugliest line was "I blame people like you for the death's of those men".

It was down right ugly - so take it from me folks, it's better to keep your mouth shut because republican's can not defend the unelected fraud and his quagmire - so instead they come after you.

1. The reason that GOP Types do this is because the......
Facsist America Haters that they are, cannot formulate an arguement against our ideas and policies so they blame us for Bushler's bad deeds.

2. I have been on an Uncensored forum
arguing with a bunch of Bushitas for weeks now
and yes it is ugly

But their argument fails and they know it. I have already beat them into submission on the weapons of mass destruction lie

Now I am working on the 911 - negligence

Anyone to join..... you can cuss them out all you want its getting funny as they scramble for facts and proofs and repeatedly come up with nothing

3. isn't that how he got elected?
"republican's can not defend the unelected fraud and his quagmire - so instead they come after you."

and i too have to be careful. I left here last nite to go play some online bridge, just heartsick, one of my favorite (albeit republican) people was there and asked why i was so quiet. I told her i was upset about the news from Iraq and she told me "better get used to it or it will be a long summer" How could she? and her son is in the AF leaving for Qutar in a few days and "proud and happy to go serve" to quote her.

aaarrrrgggg i don't have kids or grand kids but how can you just dismiss the pictures of dead babies?

5. Didn't you get the memo?
It's YOUR fault 651 soldiers are dead in Iraq.

It's YOUR fault the Iraqi insurgency is growing.

It's YOUR fault bin Laden, al-Zawahri and Mullah Omar are still on the run.

And if there is another terrorist attack, it will be YOUR fault.

Geez.

6. The Bushistas!
Generally, the response to those claims is it was all Clinton's fault. There is no such thing as accountability in this White House, except for perhaps Richard Clarke.

7. It happens if you dare to be critical of anyone on the Left too
Fanatics are fanatics, no matter what the topic they're fanatical about.

9. This one is easy
I get garbage like this all the time..

My answer?

"Leave My country, Traitor, and take that Coward Bush with you."

you gotta give them shit or they will have no respect for you, or else they leave you the hell alone.

It is time to take a stand, seriously. Too much murder in the world because no one stands up and calls a spade a spade.

10. "God is in the Constitution, you should read it sometime,,,"
...snotty comeback from my rightwing coworker when I tried to discuss that "God" in the Pledge in context of church-state seperation.

I was thinking about the combination of ignorance, arrogance, condescension, and personal attack all wrapped up in that comeback to me.

So, yeah, for the rightys politics is really personal.

13. God is NOT in the Constitution. It's a blatant lie.
Total bullshit, as usual, from the RW fundies.

There IS a mention of the CREATOR- a deliberately non-denominational reference to a higher power- in the Declaration of Independence, and in the Constitution they note the year as being "in the year of our Lord," but that's just the same thing as saying AD (anno domini (sic?)- Latin for "in the year of our Lord"), which is STILL used everywhere and is clearly not religious.

12. Never keep your mouth shut!
Intrude into their cozy little echo chamber whenever you can! Don't let them get away with unchallenged lies!

If you do that, they win.

14. I had one tell me
I had no right to vote or "breed", and it was because I said I'd voted for Clinton! She still emails me, and I delete all her mail. I did send her stuff on Social Security and Medicare, telling her how her hero was shafting her (she's in her 70s).
