Did I hear this on NOW?
Anyone watching the discussion about Fallujah, where it was stated (if I heard right) that people are being shot on site if on the street after curfew?

Sounds like Nazi occupation tactics to me. Please tell me I'm wrong and it was just my imagination...

2. Meet the new boss
Same as the old boss.

Seems the lyrics to that old Who song are most appropriate today.

10. Yes they will be shot on sight if...
they are seen in the street with a gun.

I heard the same thing on All Things Considered on NPR this afternoon.

5. Seriously, this can't be true. Because if it is, that would seem to me to
be a war crime.

15. Once again,
shooting people who have guns is *not* a war crime. According to the Geneva Convention, anyone with a gun is considered a combattant and can be shot.

11. Thanks for letting me know
I've never watched that show before. I just checked and it comes on at 10 EST for me so I missed it. I'll make a mental note though to watch this.

Thanks again for the help.

Will be shot. (Don't know if it only applies to specific areas.)

Per Newsworld International (Canada).

17. Where's the NRA Outrage?
How dare the US attempt to limit the rights of the Iraqis to keep and bear arms...

On a sidenote, isn't the situation in Iraq exactly the scenario that the NRA tells us is the reason we need to keep assualt weapons in the hands of the general public...?
