So... A Plastic Ham for Easter?
I imagine Chimpy will attempt to redeem himself this Easter Sunday, with a tragic photo-op appearance at Fort Hood.

More than 65 soldiers based in Fort Hood have lost their lives since the war began. 8 of them were killed in the past week.

More here:

31 troops wounded in Iraq airlifted back to Fort Hood

8 Fort Hood troops among those killed in combat this week

Will they exalt our Dear Leader this Easter Sunday, as he mingles among the grieving families with a plastic ham and a bouncy bunny for the kids? Or will they go somber, tone it down, attempt to feign reverence?

Where are you, President Bush? Show yourself. Grieve with the rest of us. And, if you wouldn't mind, please spare us the photo-op this sorrowful weekend.

1. I wouldn't be surprised
Fake Ranch
Fake military uniform (he sure loves to play dress up)
Fake turkey
Fake firefighters in their ads

I'm sure I could go on, but I think everyone gets the point. ;-)

2. When he reemerges, the people must demand nothing short of a...
... full-blown press conference. This is absolutely imperative. No down-home folksy-talk in a one-on-one with Diane Sawyer, no Scott McClellan Singular Defense, no surrogates blaming Clinton.

Face the Press, Mr. Tough-Guy.

Put down the cedar branches and the remote, Mr. President. It's time to talk about this war. Crawford, Texas is not the seat of national government, even if you wish it were, really, really bad.

This man's got some questions to answer. We must demand this of him.
