Bush speeches getting longer...zzzzzzzzzzz or vomit? |
|
So Bush feels the need to educate Americans (especially us) about what is going on in America and about John Kerry being "a tax and spend liberal" (who is so sick of that phrase they could puke?). This from News this AM on my internet provider:
"White House communications director Dan Bartlett said the trend is by design _ the president's. Bush has told his schedulers and speechwriters to build in more time so he can walk audiences through the many "really important things going on in our country and our world."
"He takes that role seriously, as sort of educator-in-chief," Bartlett said.
...........
The new length comes from the responsibility Bush feels to include an update on Iraq and the fight against terrorism every time he addresses the public, no matter the featured subject of the day, Bartlett said. ............
Buchanan said Bush looks like someone feeling the heat of slipping poll ratings.
"This is a guy who for the most part has been pretty revered all the time and whose self-image is wrapped up in being resolute under pressure," he said."
___
EDITOR'S NOTE _ Jennifer Loven covers the White House for The Associated Press. With any luck at all, the Goof in Chief will put all his supporters to sleep before the election.

Educator-in-Chief? We need to be 'walked through' the worldview of an idiot?
The thought of this ignorant, lazy bastard 'educating' ANYONE is a joke, right?

I was looking for an example of "irony" to use in class this week. That's just perfect!

13. The CIA wanted to generate comic book PDBs for educator-in-chief. |
|
It's over on another thread. CIA at least momentarily considered generating PDBs in comic book form in order to get Dumbya to read them.

2. You are forgetting that the repugs don't really care. They |
|
only listen and repeat the "talking points" and see "God's representative" at the podium. I can barely listen to him now. I have to force myself because I NEED to know.

3. Actually, I'm glad he's doing this! |
|
The more ordinary Americans experience his idiotic, off-the-script banter, the better!
I've noticed fewer and fewer glowing faces behind him during these speeches lately.
I hope he keeps it up.

4. but do they really see it? |
|
Edited on Sat Apr-10-04 09:10 AM by Neecy
Countdown last week showed un-freaking-believeable compiled footage of Bush* in Arkansas, hunched on a stool, acting and sounding drunk and throwing gratuitous insults at the people on stage with him.
It was an obscene performance, especially given the troop losses that day. I didn't see ANY of this footage anywhere else. He could blow fake farts on his hand and stick his finger in his eye and they wouldn't show it on a prime-time network news broadcast or on CNN.

Q I am.
THE PRESIDENT: You are?
Q Sir, in regard to --
THE PRESIDENT: Who are you talking to?
Q Mr. President, in regard to the June 30th deadline, is there a chance that that would be moved back?

11. Speeches long to hug up air time.... |
|
Small man bush's ratings have dropped, more air time may/can help him get his ratings up. We need to give him the Ropey Dope Knock Out.
Glad Kerry is sitting back, saving his money while small man bush burns. When Kerry comes out fighting, he'll give bush the final punch. The Kerry For President bumper stickers are all over my town.
