Are the DLC dems part of the coverup? |
|
Edited on Sat Apr-10-04 10:08 AM by Must_B_Free
The DLC dems clearly are dismissive of any "conspiracy theory".
but its all nuance - one man's conspiracy is another man's business plan. What do you think board rooms and directors are for - it's called planning. They conspire.
The DLC dems may just be thinking - if we just play our cards right and smooth this thing over, the tower of power will collapse into our laps.
There is no reason to dismiss the most damaging allegations without investigation. No reason other than that you want to paint a reality that shapes things in your favor.
Does the DLC have a vested interest in keeping the cat in the bag? The cat that we all can see and hear thrashing violently around in there?

If the Dems take control, the whole world will be watching very closely as to the substantive structural and behavioral changes that will be made by them, to return the US to its traditional as good citizen and honest broker in the world. Until they see that evidence, I doubt that most countries will be enthusiastic about doing much business with and in the US. Hence, making these said structural and behavioral changes would be, in fact, good for business.
Remember: In 2000, foreign investment in the US was approx $300 Billion a year. It was down to, last I looked, around $44 Billion. A lot of that money was going into investment in new businesses, especially in the tech sector.
It can easily be said that al lot of changes in American behaviors and ethics would be very good for business. Right now, we are on the thin cusp of being a de-facto pariah nation.

When and if the dems win in 2004, it will be the DLC.
Of course, this will create even more conspiracy theories from the looney far left.
My own theory? Why openly investigate things while they still have relative popularity with the populace.
Better to do it undercover until hard evidence is available.
Do I know that democrats who happen to be members of the DLC are looking into "conspiracy theories?"
