Poll question: Now are you convinced of a Bush 9/11 LIHOP? If yes, Impeach Bush? |
|
Edited on Sat Apr-10-04 01:17 PM by TruthIsAll
LIHOP = Bush Let It Happen On Purpose. MIHOP = Bush Made It Happen On Purpose.

We've got to draw a line in the sand, now, to let the Power Elite know that The People will not surrender this country and the world to their megalomaniacle criminality.

Should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.

18. It would certainly pass the "high crimes and misdemeanors" litmus test. |
|
And check John Dean's book, "Worse than Watergate" - he cites reasons why this is a VERY impeachable pResident.

3. No point in trying to impeach with GOP majorities in Congress. |
|
We need to just use the outrage to ensure Dems win back majorities in Congress.

4. Go directly to Jail, fuck impeachment |
|
Then throw cheney's ass in jail and wolfowitz and perle and rove and rice and rumsfeld and mcclellan and his predecessor.
Also, investigate limbaugh and hannity and faux for complicity in the coverup. Then throw their asses in jail.

10. It was a simple case of grotesque ineptitude. |
|
Bush will lose in November so impeachment seems like a waste of time and effort; not to mention the harm that such proceedings do the nation as a whole. Expose the ineptitude, win the election, and move on.

If they just lose the election, bu$h will pardon every one in sight. Impeach the bastards and stop any pardons! Other wise these criminals will continue their evil ways and many more will die.

11. i voted incompetence/impeach |
|
But I think a reasonable person can make the argument for LIHOP and that the investigation should continue. MIHOP isn't beyond the realm of the possible.
But the case for criminal negligence is already proven. If the administration doesn't have the decency to resign -- and they don't -- then they should be prosecuted to the fullest.
If my negligence causes an accident killing one person, I'm charged with a crime, but if it kills 3,000 persons, the law doesn't have a problem with it? Don't think so. Even if the feds won't act, you have to wonder why New York state or other authorities haven't stepped up to the bat to bring charges. It is ridiculous that a crime of this magnitude should go basically un-investigated except by the widows of some of the victims.

to impeach and, IMHO, ain't every going to be no three Republicans who would so vote, be it LIHOP or be it MIHOP: i.e., their ideology will always come before country.

I cannot believe that anyone would let somnething like that happen. I just can't imagine such a thing. The evidence is points strongly to incompetence, but I see the case for LIHOP. I just can't imagine they are that evil.

23. It was MIHOP but it wasn't BUSH that "made it happen" |
|
I trully do believe that our idiot in chief is dumb as shit. He is being programmed and CONTROLLED by the necons around him. Moreover, Bin Laden did not "make it happen" either. Yes, as the PDB shows, Bin Laden wanted to strike against the US but he was looking at a more conventional terrorist hijacking or other violent event. It was this that became the "cover" and the "story" that we have been given to explain the events of 9/11.
So this leaves us with the BIG DEEP QUESTION: Who ARE the perps behind 9/11? That they have an agenda that dovetails with that of the neocons can not be doubted. But this is DEEPER even than that, IMO.
In any case, looks to me like there is SUFFICIENT EVIDENCE for a FULL AND IMPARTIAL INVESTIGATION. Where ARE those Independent Councils when you need them?

29. suspicion > investigation > proof |
|
ie Watergate started with suspicions (conspiracy theories), which led to investigation, and the investigation found proof.
If you demand proof before investigation, nothing will get done.

Impeachment and removal from office at a bare minimum. In a perfect and just world there would be a firing squad. Then a seizure of any an all family assets. Sorry Babs, Jenna, Pickles. You're all big girls now. Gotta make it on your own.
