If Bush wins by hook or crook, then Dems need to retake Senate
Edited on Sat Apr-10-04 01:43 PM by quinnox
If somehow Bush wins again, then for sure Dems need to take back the Senate and block everything Bush tries to do in the next four years. So I am hoping first that Kerry wins and Dems win Senate, second best is that Kerry wins but GOP still controls congress, or worst case that Bush wins and Dems retake Senate.

1. Even if Kerry does win,
it will not matter a lot if we don't control at least the House or the Senate, preferably both. And if we don't have either one, a Kerry presidency will in certain ways look a lot like most of Clinton's time. They'll do everything possible to obstruct him and any legislation he'll try to pass.

2. They might be afraid to try that.
Then they would lose all credibility for a long time.

4. They were praised in the media for stealing the election in Florida
Now they've got those Repub-loving touchscreen voting machines.

Goodby, Democracy!
