Caller to C-SPAN said Kennedy, Kerry, and Byrd should be shot .....
for "treason". This caller sort of jarred me out of my half-sleep this morning when I had C-SPAN on the television. They are quite vocal in their criticisms of anyone that disagrees with their selected leader. Sometimes dangerously so, it seems.

Numerous callers question why "the liberals" don't get behind the pResident and support him in this war in Iraq? They are giving support and comfort to the enemy, they say. If they could, there is little doubt that they would like to find a final solution to the "liberal" problem in this country...

It is a serious problem. The talk show provocateurs and the propagandists have pumped up their listeners to the point that they would like to shoot anyone that disagrees with them. It never dawns on them that they may be wrong. Or that their leader may be wrong. We are their Fallujah. They dont know what to do with us. They would like to nuke us and get it over with but they have the means to do it.........yet.

27. I live there, and yes, for some reason...
the callers from FL seem to be whacky. Not that there are not pockets of Dems in the state of FL...

But many parts of the state are die-hard, Christian-right GOPers.

25. It's on overt act of self-hatered.
They despise themselves for being so stupid and having been misled by the people they admire (Bush, Rummy, Rush, Hannity). They know they are wrong, they know they are supporting people who really don't give a shit about them, but like a drug addict, their addiction to hate is more than they can fight. So they lash out with all manner of hate speech and loathing for those who oppose their point of view. Believe me, if you are not with them, you definitely want to be against them.

2. Interesting that it's always Democrats that get assassinated or
anthrax'd. That it's RW extremists that blow-up federal buildings or create military compounds. Or that it's Republicans who create/support dictators and undermine democracies in other countries. Or support AWOL pResidents by questioning Democratic vetrens who fought for this country.

Why do these people hate America so much?

8. Why don't people who call in to those shows get in trouble...
Edited on Sat Apr-10-04 04:02 PM by Van Helsing
either by the cops or what???? Saying someone "should be shot" is a threat in my book. If I ever heard a freeper or anyone else say that, I'd turn his/her ass over to the authorities immediately.

It's pretty sad that repukes have to resort to thoughts that harm and/or actions against someone because he/she disagrees with the person questioning the government. I find repukes sick, disgusting, and a disgrace to this country. :puke:

9. This is how they solve problems when lying fails
It's not a far leap from the assassinations of the 60's to the anthrax mailings of 2001-2. I seriously worry sometimes about the safety of John Kerry and people like Michael Moore or even Richard Clarke. I don't think that fear is irrational at this point.

How many of US think twice before even putting a bumpersticker on our cars? Look at the thread here about the confrontational neighbor...

My husband says he thinks we're heading for a civil war (it seems we're already in one of sorts), particularly if nothing is done about the touchscreen voting systems to validate the results this year. (Will either side believe the outcome?)

10. They are having trouble with the fact that they have been taken by their
monkey president. They know things are not going well for their gang so they are lashing out at all of us. Deep down they know it is the fault of their monkey president. Some poster here mentioned in an earlier thread that they had been threatened for flying their flag half staff.

12. Leaving the mall the other day
Walking back toward my car, I came into range of radio of the guy who had parked next to me. He had his windows down, just sitting in his car, it was actually a pickup, with the volume turned up enough for anyone near enough to hear. And he was listening to none other than some rabid right wing infected spewing forth the tired, anti-American hate talk.

I got to my car, rolled down my windows, and just sat there for a minute and listened. The guy he was listening to, I didn't recognize the voice, it wasn't the pill popper tho, was ranting about the liberals. He was going on and on about how condi had "really given it to the liberals" in her fraudulent appearance before the 9*11 commission.

It was made clear to me, in those few minutes, that these people aren't interested in the truth, they aren't interested in right and wrong, they aren't even interested in what is best for this nation and its people. They appear to be only interested in regurgitating the hateful, anti-democracy insanity they willfully fill their heads with daily by listening to these cowardly hypocrites who only seek to fatten their bank accounts regardless of the cost to their listeners' mental health, and the health of our nation.

That's why I've taken to referring to the dittoheads and freepers as the infected. They are not well. And their illness is dangerous. They are on the verge of criminal insanity. They are infected with blind hate and rage, and incapable of thinking for themselves, easily led.

Anyway, I sat there for a minute, listening to this moron tell his automatons that the 9*11 commission was really a battle against liberals, and then, as I put my car in reverse and began to slowly roll back, I looked hard at this guy. We made eye contact for a second, and I felt as though I had peered into an empty void of what must have been at one time a thinking, rational human being. That eerie moment passed, and as I rolled out of view, I just shook my head at him. There was no response.

I will say, that if these infected want a fight, if that's what it comes to, they should know, patriots will fight.

They consider themselves at war with the liberals and in a fight to save the soul of this nation... Fight or be trampled underneath their compassionate black boots...

They do consider the war under way, and for a while now, I guess. They want to kill and silence and exterminate, in the name of God.

One thing, tho, is that the ones who scream the loudest about ridding the nation of liberals are cowards - eager to send others to fight and die for lies, yet not having been willing to face combat for the nation themselves. That discription may not appy to all, but damn, it sure applies to a lot of the "leaders" of the right, doesn't it - from buzzboy rush to hannity to bush to cheney, etc.

Makes me think that lies and hate and shouting is all they really have, and when faced with putting their ass on the line, they'll run and hide like the cowards they are.

But no matter, you are right. If they want a fight, they can bring it on.

and they are enemies of democracy. Consider 9-11 their Reichstag fire.

Cheney's stint on Limbaugh indicates how closely the Republican party has become aligned with such wackos.

21. Quote - Rush TOLD them to kill - his own words
"I tell people don't kill all the liberals. Leave enough so we can have two on every campus - living fossils - so we will never forget what these people stood for."

- Rush Limbaugh, Denver Post, 12-29-95

this is from a book that Will Pitt wrote a piece on for truthout. Here's the link to his article, many more examples of killing as the right wing solution to bothersome Americans.

Any psychiatrists on this board? From what I know about schizophrenia, the paranoia, the delusions, the circular logic they use to deny even the most obvious truths .....

All seem schizophrenic to me.

What's so sick is people like Coulter and Savage are capitalizing on this, making MONEY from feeding into this. Does anyone seriously think either of those two hacks actually believes their own bullshit? Fuck no
