They are no longer trying to hide that Bush is not in charge. |

Cheney going to Japan for talks which involve very important talks on Korea.
August 6th Memo, released while he is on vacation, just after Condi testifies. Poppy hanging around on this trip. ( these event smell very funny)
Cheney having to sit with him during appearance before 9-11 commission.
It seems like others are doing the heavy lifting. No pretending anymore at all. (Edit sp- hide not hid)

Iraq deteriorating into total chaos... Big boys all out of town... How convenient...how familiar. I'd say anything is possible at this point. I've got a very bad feeling at the way this situation is looking. BHN

11. everyone, lets not get OVERLY paranoid |
|
Shit is definitely hitting the fan; Iraq, PDB and all that. For sure we are entering the RAPIDS OF STATE and given that it is an election year, it can ONLY get rougher as time goes on.
Hang on to your hats, though.

10. Additional tinfoil scrap |

It'd be really pretty convenient, wouldn't it, if something happened to keep the Fierce Warrior Chieftain and his little helper Dick from having to talk to that nasty ol' commission...

Picture this ad...
"I'm George Bush and I approved this message because I want to set the record straight. I haven't really been in charge the past 4 years. It was all my 'advisors'. So, don't blame me for all the shit that's hit the fan since I took office, I wasn't in charge. I was in the oval office reading comic books and watching my pathetic Rangers lose game after game. So, vote for me because I promise to actually run the show this time."
It's perfect, it deflects the blame while providing a "positive outlook for the future".
