I have been trying to remember the last time I have heard him ask someone not conservative a question and then cut them off and answer it for them by saying "isitbecauseyour'ealiberaldemocrat?"

That drives me nuts, but I honestly think it has been weeks or even months since I have seen him abuse anyone that way, intoning as if liberal democrat = child molester.

He should have seen this coming.

Last night, he called Bush "humble."

Today, he let Rep. James Sesenbrenner lie and say the CIA didn't tell the FBI about two future hijackers because of a regulation by Jamie Gorelick. (Jamie Gorelick is one of the 5 Democrats on the 9/11 commission).

Actually, the CIA did tell the FBI but waited a year too long.

You have to give Matthews some credit -- his ratings were much higher when he attacked Democrats.... the cable news audience doesn't like this anti-war thing too much.

I know he's taking a bunch of crap for it from the right wing, so I wanted to let them now that at least one viewer out there appreciates hearing from the "Widows" that the left so despise. Tweety is sort of all over the map these days though, isn't he?

I admit it -- I'm hooked on Hardball. I think the reason is because I really don't know what position he's going to take on any given day. Half the time I think he's great, the other half I'm throwing things at my TV. Sort of takes out the element of predictability.
