Oh My God, Bill O'Reilly's offended!
He's blasting the Jersey Girls and says they're using the dead to make Bush look bad. Burlingham is also on saying that she was a hard core dem but will now vote for Bush.

1. Saw that...
she said she suspects the Jersey Girls have "an agenda".

Like maybe she doesn't? She is fast becoming a darling of the right wing.

Sorry. She's the Bush supporter who always appears on the cable
shows to support Bush. I guess to balance out the Jersey Girls.

4. Those are the people we forget about when
we say "who would vote for Bush* now if they voted for Gore in 2000?" They are the people who are so afraid of another terrorist attack that they will ruin their country in order to make themselves feel a little safer. I know one guy like that myself, although it's hard to say if he voted for Gore in 2000. He may have even voted Nader.

37. I REALLY hope they keep harping on about this...
It's a silver bullet.

Because what they are saying is sicker than sick and people who don't pay attention are going to see this for what it is. Kristin Breitweiser has been in the news for the last 2 years, and they can't make her into something she isn't (a democrat or Gore voter) no matter how hard they try. They are definitely overplaying their hand on this matter. The republicans are usually brilliant at getting the public to identify with them on a (fake) personal level, and they fail to understand the general public will empathize with a 9/11 widow alot sooner than it will a partisan pundit, and the title of the 8/6/01 briefing sealed this for the widows. Only the wedded repubs can't see how bad this slander is making them look.

I hope they go on about this for months.

Burlingame. Her brother was the pilot of one of the American Airlines flights. She was on CNN last night campiagning hard for the 'Cons, talking about how everyone should stop attacking the president. Aren't you curious as to why your husband died, ma'am? Must be some kind of denial.

and she's been overtly partisan.. Something the women from NJ have strived to avoid... Though she's welcomed to her views, I certainly wouldn't try to bash someone who lost their loved ones in the event, stooping to O'Reilly's level.

36. So Burlingame's sister is made of freeper stuff?
Edited on Thu Apr-15-04 12:13 AM by MetaTrope
Let me just express here that of all the many coincidences and bizarre details surrounding the incidents of 9/11, the single most baroque one for me is that the pilot of the commercial airliner which crashed into the Pentagon was perhaps the one pilot in the world most qualified to crash a commercial airliner into the Pentagon.

That goes way, way beyond random chance. Unfortunately, thinking this way also provokes scenarios that pass beyond loony...was he recruited to fly the plane himself, either ideologically or through threats against his family? Did "somebody" arrange for him to pilot the same flight the hijackers were on? Was he flying via remote control? Did he get beamed up to the lizards' mothership an instant before the crash?

Jeez.

Looking at all those articles about the controversy surrounding his burial at Arlington though, the question in my mind is a rather more ghoulish one: Were his remains actually found and identified from the crash site, or is that an empty coffin in the ground?

Anyway, it's another strange coincidence that his sister has such a high profile in the aftermath.

40. Does he Know This !

Two of the Jersey girls are republicans who voted for Bush, and Kristen
Britweiser is one of them. yet during the segment on them nobody mentioned
that fact.

They just want the truth, and they know Bush is a liar. O'Reilly is trashing anyone
who says anything bad about Bush.

Here is a summary of last nights O'Reilly factor:

First he loved the Bush press conference, gave him a strong B grade on it.

Then he had Newt Gingrich on to give the analysis of the Bush press conference. What a
joke that was, to begin with they barely mentioned the content of the press conference. All
they did was agree how great Bush is and talk about Iraq. It was a 4 minute right-wing
lovefest with 2 republicans agreeing with each other.

Then he goes to commercial and comes back with Pat caddell, this guy is a bigger joke than
Newt Gingrich. He is a FORMER democratic pollster, but he is more like a republican than
most republicans. The first thing he did was agree with O'Dummy's analysis of the Bush
press conference. And this idiot was there to give the counter point, yet he basically
agreed with Newt and O'Dummy.

If Caddell is a democrat, I am a conservative.

Then he had some right-wing idiot on who blames the intelligence wall on Clinton and
Reno. This wall was put in place in 1978, a full 14 years before Clinton was elected
President. All Clinton did was renew it, btw Bush and Ashcroft renewed it too. The wall was
only taken down after 9-11 when the patriot act was passed. Yet O'Dummy and the
right-wing idiot sat there for 4 minutes and blamed Clinton. The fact is the whole congress
approved it, everyone approved it until 9-11 happened, including the Bush administration.

Then he basically told the 9-11 women to shut up and stop asking tough questions, and
stop making Bush look bad.

The whole damn hour was nothing but a cover for Bush show and a blame Clinton show. it
was biased, pathetic, and a joke.

He put a segment in about the prom for who knows why, who cares what happens in
alabama or wherever it was. What happened to states rights, why not let the people in
that state deal with it.

This show is conclusive proof O'Dummy is totally in the tank for Bush. I would guess 95% of
the show trashed liberals and praised Bush. The whole rest of the world was embarrased
by the Bush press conference. He did not answer one question, he is an idiot and a joke.
Most people gave him an F grade on the press conference. I agree, it was an
embarrassment, as O'Franken said on the O'Franken factor today, I hope nobody outside
the USA saw the press conference because Bush is an embarrassment to America.
