How would NOT knowing about PNAC effect your views on M/LIHOP? |
|
If you'd never heard of PNAC, never knew of their desire for another Pearl Harbor...Would you have ever suspected there was anything more to Sept. 11th than *just a terror attack*??
Is knowing about PNAC the Alpha and Omega of the M/LIHOP theories?

1. On 9/11 I was looking at my screen saying, "Those fuckers..they let this |
|
happen." So how PNAC effected it was by adding a motive to the suspicion.

On 9/11 of 2001, I was telling people something along the lines of "It wouldn't suprise me if they either engineered this or just flat out let it happen."
Of course, it shocked the hell out of my friends.
And I didn't know what PNAC was then.

It was very lonely in those early days for those of us who were suspicious from the start.

4. I knew bu$h&co was responsible when I heard about the towers. |
|
I didn't hear of PNAC till sometime later.
I vented on a local BB at the time and got throughly flamed by all. I wonder how many changed their minds and now know beyond any reasonable doubt that the bu$h criminal administration is complicit in 9/11.

When I found out about PNAC and read their literature, I gagged. Still, I dont think that they are THAT devious.
Look, we can be like bitter Repubs in the 40's who thought that FDR let Pearl Harbor happen on purpose or we can focus on the one immediate goal:
Using all of our energy, skills of persuasion, and devotion to convincing those on the fence or republicans in denial that the best course of action is to punch the ballot for John Forbes Kerry!

But I thought at the time that the whole thing reeked to high heaven. Bush's reactions and activities on the day were the giveaway for me.

9. Same here for me. Bush's reaction was so bizarre, I knew something was |
|
up. No President I've known would have acted the way that fool did. Who was in charge for most of the day? If it hadn't been for Juliani I think the whole country would have been in hysteria. He took charge. Much as I dislike the man, at least he reacted the way an "Official" should.

10. That pretty well nails it for me |
|
as well. My first (non being-in-shock) thoughts were "These ass bastards are gonna milk this for EVERYTHING it's worth." Then the more I thought about it, started reading political boards, learned of PNAC etc. I was VERY suspicious, but still pretty much in the "Nah, surely not" camp. It's still really hard for me to believe, just as it's hard for someone who walks in on their lover in bed with someone else.

11. 9/11: My neighbor came over and told me to turn on my radio. I |
|
heard the news and the first thing I said was "That f**ker!", (meaning Bu$h of course). I went over to see some friends, who were coming over to see me at the same time. We met on the way, and before I could open my mouth, one of my friends looked me in the eyes as she approached, and said, "Bush did it".
I actually expected * would pull something like 9/11.
The PNAC is a pretty powerful support for LIHOP/MIHOP though.

13. The letter to Clinton in 1998 was destined to be remembered and |

resurrected.
Add that to the huge planet size hints they gave us about the oil and democracy...and looking at the players...
we didn't really have to read their manifesto
to know they are operators for themselves
and their view of what the world should be.

14. Honestly, when it happened, I wasn't.. |
|
thinking much about Bush except for the fact he was missing for too long on 9/11. I didn't know about PNAC for a while after. When I heard about it, I had thoughts that it was gross incompetence that crossed into LIHOP. They thought that if they didn't know exactly when/where an attack would happen, they would focus on other issues. So PNAC did have some impact IMO. Maybe I just don't want to believe that they'd directly let 3000 people die..

On the morning of 9/11 as I sat glued to the television set I immediately suspected something was not quite right. At that time I was in the middle of reading up on Skull and Bones, still searching for some explanation as to how Bush was able to steal the election, so my very first thought was that they let it happen or perhaps even made it happen. While the first tower was burning, before the second crash, I could have sworn I saw a helicopter or something moving slowly behind the towers, but never saw it again on replays.
When I watched one of the towers collapse live, and noticed what I thought for sure was an explosion a couple of floors below the floors that were hit an instant or two before the collapse and I was convinced it was an inside job. I saw it again on the replays a couple of times but then never saw that footage again, however, so assumed that I was just seeing things. I remember being quite upset that I had not yet purchased a Tivo. I even said to my son, "See that explosion? That right there will spawn a hundred conspiracy theories."
Sometime later I stumbled upon the Operation Northwoods document and realized that the idea of our own government doing such a thing was possible. Even later I found out about PNAC and that was the clincher for me.

20. Now is the time to be talking about this |
|
Questions are being asked about WHAT they did, or didn't do, in response to the warnings and information that they had. The next question is WHY would they do nothing? Answer=PNAC

|
Edited on Thu Apr-15-04 12:04 AM by scarletwoman
I didn't need knowing about PNAC to think those thoughts. Learning about PNAC happened several months later. In the meantime I had been digging for information everywhere I could.
By the time the whole PNAC thing reached my radar, I was already convinced of MIHOP from all my previous research.

24. PNAC is the glue that binds the storyboard together |
|
Without PNAC, there is no Iraq War. Without PNAC, all the inconsistencies in the official version of 9/11 seem disjointed. PNAC is the canvas, the invisible backdrop, that helps glue the little pieces of the puzzle to form a coherent picture. It gives a logical explanation to the events that lead up to the war in Iraq.
There may be other theories, but as of now PNAC is the only theory that supports the facts that have unraveled to date.
They next stepping stone is Syria. We will find out in a few months.

I was just taking into account the shock and what I realized * could get away with when the country was politically paralyzed...
Then, when his poll numbers hit 85% in favor, my suspicions hardened, but I still couldn't put my finger on it...
When I first heard of LIHOP here at DU, it hit me as lightning strikes a tree.

Let's talk about WHY they would ignore the warnings.
Why would they do that?
It's completely implausible.
Unless they had a REASON.
