'I'm 19. I'm not supposed to be a widow'
http://www.suntimes.com/output/iraq/cst-nws-marine14.html

In the last e-mail note he sent to his young wife, Marine Lance Cpl. Phil Frank said little about the risks he was facing in Iraq. Instead, Frank expressed his love for his 19-year-old bride, Keri, whom he married last August, and his hopes that she was coping with his absence.

"He just wanted to make sure everything was taken care of here, make sure that I'm happy and taken care of,'' Keri Frank said Tuesday, her voice falling to a whisper as she recalled the note she received from her husband early last week. "And he told me how much he loved me.''

Wonder if this guy's last thought was, "I'm never going to to see my wife again." This is so sad.

Gods, when will this END?!

1. And they spent exactly one night together...
...as a married couple.

So damn sad.

3. LOL. Thanks. I needed the laugh.
Things are getting so depressing it's unbearable.
