Gov. Pawlenty thinks $hrub will win
Edited on Wed Apr-14-04 09:57 PM by GreenPartyVoter
(Well, he's a Repub so no surprise there I guess.)

"The economy is likely to continue to stabilize between now and November," the governor said. "If that happens - and he stabilizes Iraq, I think he'll be re-elected - not by a lot, but I think he's going to get re-elected."

3. Our Canadian Pharma help here in Maine is on hold
Judge had to recuse himself and reassign the case. :(

Hope you Minnesotans can deliver up a Blue state and ditch Pawlenty when the time comes. :)

5. And Pawlenty claims to be
a born again right wing Christian republican conservative? How dare he contradict Pat Robertson.

4. Actually the title is "Republicans Fear Iraq War Fallout"
Edited on Wed Apr-14-04 10:00 PM by elbayl
Co-chairman of Bush's state campaign thinks Bush will win?!? That's news?

Actually the article was pretty negative:

But questions persist. Several undecided voters in this key state - Democrat Al Gore narrowly won Minnesota in 2000 - said they're troubled by events in Iraq.

Amanda Svobodny, a suburban mother who voted for Bush in 2000, said she regrets her choice.

"I'm going to vote Democrat in this election," said the Maple Grove resident. "I don't think we were ever made aware of what's going on in Iraq. His administration has not told the truth."

Another young mother from Maple Grove, a city full of ticket-splitters, said she once favored the Iraq war. Now, Michele Rapinac thinks "it was a big mistake to trust him."

6. Yeah
Believe me I liked the rest of the article, but that one quote tossed in there at the end of an article of that tone really caught my eye. Made me laugh in surprise too. *l*

7. So, to summarize
He thinks * might get reselected, barely, if

1) The economy gets much better

and

2) Iraq is stable

That's pretty sad. * has 8 months to get the job numbers to increase by a lot and fix Iraq, or even his friends think he has no chance. And they think even if he does both of those things, he will still just barely win.

Fact - * won't be able to do either one of those, and if the election isn't massively rigged, he will lose in a landslide.

8. Ventura vs Pawlenty...
I'm still trying to figure out which one is the worse of the two governors. Ventura raised my college tuition exponentially...but Pawlenty is a Republican, so I guess that takes the cake. Not by much, though.
