Great show! I had heard rumors that O'Neill was trying to investigate Bin Laden before 9/11. He was told to back off on orders from the Bush Administration. They did not want the FBI to investigate ties between George Bush, Sr. and the Bin Laden family.

Too bad that this story has received little if any media attention.

I wonder what the reaction to Massoud's assassination was at CIA, FBI, etc. ? Was it in a PDB? No light bulbs going off after all those "UBL's COMING!"-headlined warnings?
