Imus did this twice. Once on-air immediately following a phone interview on Imus' show...after Matthews hung up he said "he needs to learn how to listen."
Then, in person during the Democratic debates, Matthews interviewed Imus live. He looked very uncomfortable and after a few moments repeatedly chastised Matthews every time he interrupted. Matthews thought it was a joke.
