Poll question: Would you enjoy having a beer with Bush? |
|
Edited on Wed Apr-14-04 10:14 PM by Feanorcurufinwe
This is a common theme in the media - Bush is someone you'd want to share a beer with.
Would you enjoy sharing a beer with George W. Bush?

But I have a perverse motive about it. You see as a supposedly reformed alcoholic I don't GW can handle his liquor. I'd be playing mind games with him during the whole encounter that by the time I was through with him he'd either be pissed off with me or crying in his beer.

However I have a feeling he'd get up and go to the bathroom right before the waitress comes with the next round. Typical Bush, sticking me with his tab.

Chimp and his father are nothing more than money grabbers. He never even spent time with the troops or went to funerals. Did you see the way he treated the press corps yesterday? I am glad they tore into him, and he ended up looking like a bufoon. The guy is waaay to formal and not at all casual like Bill Clinton.

|
let's face it. bush is an asshole and psychotic.
he is the epitome of what is wrong with those people who have no empathy but have enough of a social IQ to attempt to hide it.
this is doubly dangerous.
in the first, people without empathy don't care about how their own actions impact others, which is fine for most, we can deal with it on a small scale, but for a the president of the united states?
second, those who like bush are aware of this personal trait recognize that it is considered a negative and they hide this attitude to prevent social censure.
so we are left with a cowardly berserker.

it's HELL NO! Why on earth do some people think that chimpy would be a good guy to have a beer with? Because that was the spin going into the last selection? He'd be the first one there to belittle someone for some shortcoming, like being too fat or thin, or having crooked teath or whatever. No way in hell would he be even close to being a good drinking buddy. Betcha he can't handle his liquor at all, a belligerent power drinker who gets tanked up then gets agressive with everyone.
If I had an opportunity to toss back a few with a VIP it'd have to be the Big Dog. God the stories he could tell. That intellect would have you listening to him all night.

I'll generally have one round with anyone. It's a great way to talk to people and you can always get good crazy talk after a few rounds. Damn YES, I'd love to sit down and drink with the guy and give him a few pieces of my mind and see what makes him tick in a non-public setting. It'd be an amazing experiment!!

44. I voted "YES"! Want to know why? |
|
1) spitting in his beer
2) booger in his curly fries
3) fecal matter smeared on his car door handle
4) when he comes and asks me who did it, I proudly announce it was ME and then we go off to the alley for me to show him how Free America feels about his Totalitarian Orwellian Empire...
NOTE to OHS: I am not threatening Herr Bushler* in any way shape or form. merely pondering of what I would do in the impossible event that the Monster would sit down to have a beer with me. I would also like to add that if ANY nut, Left, Right, or Center, is considering harming Bunnypants* in any way, that they should reconsider the consequences not just to themselves, but to all of us.
ANY attempt like that (and there is the possibility that the Busheviks would stage the attempt themselves for the same reason they purposefully allowed 9/11 to happen) would instantly result in a severe crackdown, possibly Martial Law, and ultimately enslavement for the Amerikan people MUCH FASTER than it will happen if the Busheviks retain the power they've seized.
Don't do it.
