In his monologue, Letterman said he kept hearing some background noise at *Bush's press conference last night and he called his friend down at the White House and he told Dave "That noise was Kerry measuring for drapes."

I laughed at that one, I have loved Letterman since I was 9 (First episode I saw had Bruce Willis talking about Moonlighting, I remember it very vividly).
