How quickly they change their minds!

I work with a Repub whose son is with the Marine
Corps in Iraq.

I, being the nice guy I am, asked him how is son
was today -- whether he was in Fallujah, etc. I was glad to
hear he's okay.

But this father told me, "I just don't know what
we're going to accomplish there. It'll be the same once
we leave. They hate us, what are we doing there."

Isn't it interesting how an overwhelming majority of
us DU'ers have been opposed to the war from the start, yet
it takes a father to have his son be deployed to now
be opposed as well?

Perhaps the rest of America who support the war
should listen to this father who suddenly is opposed,
and suddenly is making a lot sense.
