They took not just the property that the ballpark sits on, but other property for blocks around. Property owners had to settle for a pittance and be happy. Seems he's offering the palestinians the same kind of raw deal. His message: no you cannot go back to your confiscated homes in Israel. Thats your hovel over there.

I'm sick of the Palestineans using their kids as bombs. Very few things disgust me as much as this tactic.

I'm sick of the Israeli's treating the Palestineans like they are all terrorists, and destroying the homes of anyone who is related to a possible Hamas member.

I support both the Israelis' and the Palestineans' right to exist. I think they need to learn to get along, and as long as we are providing money to them and weapons to one side, they are going to keep it up. Even if they keep fighting after we cut them all off, at least our money won't be used by either side to kill the other.

I'm also sick of the GOP kissing up to Israel and their evangelical cheering section here. What kind of friends was the US being when the Reagan/Bush I administration was selling weapons to both sides of the Iran/Iraq war?
