Young Republicans are very over-confident.... |
|
And why shouldn't they be? All they have ever known is right-wing propaganda. From Rush Limbaugh to Sean Hannity and all those in between, they have never heard a discouraging word about their hero, Ronald Wilson Reagan. (Notice that each of his names has 6 letters? 666) Why shouldn't they believe that they are in the majority and that almost everyone agrees with them? That is what they have been told all their lives.
They "know" how despicable the liberal media is and how nearly every problem in America is the fault of "liberals". Rush says so. They know how Democrats are unpatriotic and conservatives are more religious. Because they are told so. What kind of tumultous event will it be in their young lives when John Kerry wins the presidency? Who will they blame? Whomever Rush tells them to blame?

I always keep enlistment forms in my courier bag.
That shuts 'em up, but good!
