CNN's Bill Schneider on CSPAN II right now |
|
talking about how chimp has spent ALL his political capital on Iraq
"Some would say on the deficit, as well" !!!!!
hmmmm.....he seems somewhat balanced
says War on Iraq has "contaminated" the WOT....bleeding over
going into Poll numbers, saying we're not doing things right, but that we should be doing something
the only rational member of AEI, Norm Ornstein, is sitting next to Schneider
pretty interesting so far
was there a thread on this? the show was on earlier today, from the little thingy in RH corner

1. quoting bad handling of economy poll numbers, despite growth |
|
he says it's cause of the high gas prices.....making jokes about Americans' right to cheap gas "It's right there in the constitution!"
he might have mentioned that those job numbers are bogus, and people are NOT sharing in this fab economy
but that would be stepping over the line, and being TOO honest
talking about Kerry not doing as well as he should, cause Bush is using his pre-emptive strike policy vis a vis war, etc., by doing pre-emptive ads (says that dishonest gas tax commercial) against him; says they are VERY VERY effective

sez Kerry doesn't really need to have much in the way of plans, just pay lip service, as long a dumbo is doing as badly as he is, cause it's all about the incumbent
fifty seven percent of americans say he has no plan, according to him; this was before the puppet show the other night
Nader is a PROBLEM, a looming problem for Kerry; sez it's more important to look at BUSH's numbers than Kerry, AND that Bush's numbers are higher in battleground states than nationally....uh oh

9. Funny how the War, as an issue, was at it's low point right when |
|
the primaries started (Economy). Now it's at an all time high now that the candidate has been decided. Funny, not fishy.

|
"You (Kerry) never commit homicide on someone who is actively committing suicide."

3. now citing Pew survey: GASOLINE is overwhelming attention getter |
|
DOUBLE that of who's paying attention to 911 commission
almost double those paying attention to war
ORNSTEIN telling TRUTH about the 300K jobs created, saying TWO HUNDRED FORTY THOUSAND of them are Part time!
I've ALWAYS loved this guy
he says econonists are surprised at these numbers; Ornstein was NOT, talking about all the productivity gains to keep from hiring, then, when hiring, to hire temps as much as possible, to avoid all the nasty health care benefits, etc.
this is the BEST analysis of the economy, by far, you'll see on ANY TV show, Dobbs included
too bad nobody's paying attention
amazing that it's on an AEI Forum
Ornstein and OFranken are very good friends.....he played himself on Al's audio version of Why Not ME, which is HILARIOUS!!!!
I drove off the road one time, listening to it.
Al runs for president, his only platform plank removing ATM fees.
He wins, goes nuts, ends up CLONING himself, gets all his top aides put in jail for covering up crimes committed during/after campaign
as good, or better, than his other books
also has a fantastic satire of Woodward, who "writes" a book about Al's one hundred days in office

4. hahahahahah.......James Glassman is more optimistic about economy!!!! |
|
know who he is?
he wrote that book called "Dow 36,000" or something like that
he also is salivating over a burgeoning antiwar movement, hoping it'll pull lefties to Nader
what a dick

8. you got it. I LOVED watching him making a fool of himself on cable |
|
he disappeared pretty fast after his book came out, and the market went into the toilet shortly thereafter
he's an AHOLE on the order of Larry Kudlow.......not as hypernoxious, but on the same plane of supplyside, unthinking Babbitt booster

Ornstein is often quite interesting.
Once in a blue moon, Schneider notices an interesting thing.
