Media will keep focus on Iraq/Terror--Does that effect who is VP???
Apparently, both campaigns are going nuts because the media will only focus on Iraq and 9/11 Commission, etc. Bush, obviously, because the images aren't good for him wants to divert to "economy" or "examining your toilet bowl" or whatever so that you don't think too much about it. Kerry, they say, is having trouble getting his message out because he is constantly interrupted on the campaign trail either by reporters or audience pounding the Iraq questions. At first I was in favor of someone for VP (probably midwestern) who might be able to hit those midwestern states that have been hit with such high unemployment, etc. But, honestly, now I'm wondering if this keeps up if he is going to need, say, Wes Clark????? I'm afraid this media is not going to get off message all the way through Novemember---and, of course, in may ways they are hoping Americans will do the "we know it sucks there; but it's our suck and our suckie President who we have to remain united behind". Anyway, do you think we should calibrate to this turn of events?????
