Is Bush's new stance on the UN worth a double flip-flop ?
As we know, Bush likes to accuse Kerry of being a flip-flopper. But, it seems like Bush has a flip-flop a day here lately. If he's not changing his mind about letting Condi testify before the Commission or saying that he will not touch the Social Security trust, he is doing or saying something that totally contradicts what he has said or done before. Now, at the risk of losing many of his right-wing supporters, he is down on bended knee before the United Nations. How humiliating! He may as well join the circus. The highwire is waiting.

1. The Mother of Flip Floppers he is.
Hat in Hand?? In Japan, he would need to grovel on the floor asking for forgiveness.

2. let's make a list of the flip-flops of Bush...
before: pre-2000 election against nation-building
now: nation-building in Iraq

before: against creation of a 9/11 commission
now: welcomes 9/11 commission/will testify with daddy Cheney

4. I hope that the UN makes it difficult for him...
I would suggest to Mr. Annan that the US pay up all of its back dues before the UN considers anything in the way of cooperation.

it takes a great man to admit his course of actions needs to be changed.

of course, i dont know what to call a man who changes course but doesn't admit it.
