"Rock Against Bush" new collaborate album..
When was the last time musicians got together to make an album with the sole intention of ousting the president? 26 bands, 26 tracks. I'm going to buy it, not only because I listen to most of the bands on it, but because of the principle of it. Like KKKarl Rove says, "Stick to the principle."

4. Six Dollars!?!
The message is more important than the money? Did music just remember it had a soul?

5. right on
i've heard tons about the album, but mostly from the local clear channel whores: <unenthusiastic voice>"Features Sum 41, NOFX and others... I guess you'll like it if you're anti-bush, <enthusiastic voice> but you'll think it sucks if you're not!".

i can't believe a rock station would be manned with republicans. rock and conservatism are ideological polar opposites.

the world's gone made, i tell ya!!

7. My PD is a repuke...
but he doesn't know that much about rock music either. Everyone at the station knows I'm a liberal nut though and they think it's great. The PD is just a repub because I think that's all he knows. He doesn't do research to find out what a douche shrub is. I'm convinced I can convert him...or laugh in his face.

for my web site to run starting Monday. And in order to be fair and balanced, I'm going to mention that there's a right wing punk movement, too. So get your suggestions and kibitzing in--Sunday 6PM EST is my deadline!

14. right wing punk movement?
there is no actual definition for punk, to try and give punk a rigid definition would be against the very spirit of punk. but punk does incorporate certain philosophies, such as self determination and free expression. supporting right wing authoritarian ideologies, expressed by the current administration, is contrary to the very essence of what makes punk, punk. bush is a moral leader, anti-anti-flag, punk voter lies, come on. i suspect these right wing punks are nothing more that racists in disguise, the nazi punk scene has been in decline for years, they just want to inject themselves into the current scene because they have no forum.

went to the rock bush show, saw jello perform to drunk to fuck with nofx :headbang:

16. Right wing punk??
You mean like Skrewdriver or some other moronic nazi skinhead band?

What the fuck would "Repunklicans" sing about?

How much they LOVE the death machine establishment??

How much better intrusive government is than anarchy?

And if they made a song called "Kill The Poor" they wouldn't be joking like the Dead Kennedys.
