VP attacks Kerry's gun rights record

By BOB DART

PITTSBURGH — Unloading on John Kerry, Vice President Dick Cheney enlisted an eager army of gun owners Saturday night in the battle to re-elect President Bush.

Chanting "four more years," about 4,000 members of the National Rifle Association enthusiastically cheered Cheney during his keynote address to their national convention.

I guess the only requirement for a newspaper these days is as a whore, not literacy.

1. They probably got him mixed up with Lon Chaney.
Which is a mistake-Dick Cheney is at least a million times scarier than any creep or creature that Lon Chaney played.

2. So which one of these papers screwed this up?
I'm really hanging my head now. I was born in Pgh...lived there for 40 years, and now live in Ga. So I'm ashamed of both Pgh, and the AJC!

6. The Atlanta Journal-Constitution
Editors usually write the headlines. (That's one of the reasons they're even more spun than the articles.)

3. Apparently they haven't read sections of Patriot Act 2
that would deny them their guns. Do these idiots really think these control freaks would allow them to keep their guns once they obtained greater controls here?
