How Alert Are You?
I wonder what stage of alert we are at today. It might be yellow, or maybe I heard it went to orange last week? What does that mean? What do the colors stand for? Nobody sent me a little card in the mail telling me what the colors meant or what to do.

Of course we all know what the alert system means though. Its a system where the more intense the color the greater the possibility of attack againt our country. That's what everyone things it seems.

Well I don't think that's what the sysetem alerts us to at all. Here's what I think the colors mean with increasing intensity. I think the brighter the color the worse job Bu$h is doing. If its yellow he's doin' Ok but if its red he's really screwing up. Right now it seems to be hovering somewhere right around bright orange if you ask me.

1. I thought
the color coding was more mind control, not the government having a clue.

2. It became a joke so they will not tell us any more.
I do not know if I should be in fear or not, so please let me know.

3. I've never thought of it as a measure of how Bush is doing.
I'll pay closer attention to it now. I have suspected in the past that the code was raised at times to benefit him politically. Same thing in a different vein I guess.

5. Yep!
That's exactly what I mean. If you hear a report that the Alert Code has been raised to blood red it means that Bu$h is doing such a poor job that virtually every inch of American is defenseless and likely to be hit at any moment, every citizen is in danger. This would seem to me of a Commander in Chief and first Ambassador to the United States of America who had done the worst possible job.

7. Love it! I've been calling it the Sesame Street Color Code
for a long time -- are we "great minds"? That is hilarious.
