The fliers condemned the leaders of Iraq's two Kurdish parties. It is not known who produced the fliers, which were also seen in Baghdad.

The Kurdish leaders were condemned in chanting that followed Friday prayers at a major Sunni mosque in Baghdad.

"When the fighting is over in Fallujah, I will sell everything I have, even my home," said a resistance fighter who gave his name as Abu Taif Mashhadani. He wept as he recalled his 8-year-old daughter, who he said was killed by a U.S. sniper in Fallujah a week ago. "I will send my brothers north to kill the Kurds, and I will go to America and target the civilians. Only the civilians. Eye for an eye, tooth for a tooth. And the one who started it will be the one to be blamed."

1. This is historically correct!

The elder Bush is the one responsible for Al Qaida focusing on us. Had he left matters alone, we would have never been in the cross hairs.

And, when you think about it, why should we have cared one way or the other? Kuwait -- a free country????? Give me a break. Protecting Saudi? Yeah, right.

Even the blood for oil argument made no sense. If they wanted money, they would sell oil. All of the b@stards over there are inbred dictators -- what would it matter if we bought oil from one dictator or another?

All this invasion did was to increase the amount of hatred of us -- but it was there in the first place anyway.

What do you make of the last section, about children as combatants??

In Baghdad Tuesday, a girl about 6 or 7 years old dropped an explosive from a highway overpass onto a convoy. A commander was killed in a similar incident outside Fallujah, when a convoy was ambushed after slowing for a girl leading cattle across a highway."

While I don't have a strong reason to doubt that children are being used by militants, it's worth noting that the little cowgirl was never interviewed or accounted for in the reports of the gunfight that ensued. I suspect she was killed.

I am deeply suspicious and dismayed that after ignoring the deaths of children so resolutely and contrary to their professional obligation to report accurately and fairly, major media outlets like the Post are now coming up with a story like this. It seems like a justification for killing children, like a spoonfed concoction. As I said, I don't doubt the basic premise that children are being exploited--but this just doesn't seem like good journalism to me.
