Big picture of Tricky Dick Cheney at the NRA Convention.

Cheney's tough talk on the war on terror also drew cheers and standing ovations.

U.S. enemies cannot be appeased, deterred or dissuaded from trying to attack the country, the vice president said.

"They can only be destroyed, and that is the business at hand," Cheney said.

5. Can you imagine what parents, families and friends are
thinking with Cheney appearing with LaFave, holding a gun and agreeing with the radical part of the NRA?

If I were a relative or friend of those kids at Columbine or the thousand of other shootings, I would be furious seeing a picture of the leader of my country holding a gun, laughing and posing in a tux.
Cheney might as well give all the victims the finger and post that on their front page.

You know, I remember when the NRA was known as sports persons magazine and had wonderful articles about hunting and collections, etc. What the hell happened?

6. Cheney said Kerry has voted repeatedly for gun-control measures
Edited on Sun Apr-18-04 09:12 AM by OneTwentyoFive
SO FUCKING WHAT OIL DICK???

I don't have Kerry's voting record directly in front of me but what the hell I'll take a WILD ASS guess and what Kerry voted against.

1. Assault weapons which are not for hunting. Criminals LOVE these types of weapons. Try shooting at them with your little hand gun when they are fleeing from a crime--you'll be dead in an instant. The POLICE want those weapons banned, for their lives and others!!!!

2. Ban on guns near schools. Anyone with a gun anywhere near MY KID at school will pay a BIG price for that action.

3. Waiting list so some hot-headed SOB doesn't run out a buy a gun five minutes after an argument and kill someone. If you can't wait five days for a gun then you don't need a gun.

This PISSES me off to no end when thugs like Dick Cheney try and make Kerry and for that matter all Dems who only want tough laws to protect people, look like their taking away their rights to own a gun. Total BS....

8. That he took that rifle away from a NRA member...
Edited on Sun Apr-18-04 09:36 AM by OneTwentyoFive
And is now heading out to destroy it. Then in Kerry's clever disguise he'll nab yet ANOTHER hunters gun and another. Send your money NOW to the NRA or this could happen to YOU!!

And like good lemmings the checks will flow to the front door of the NRA.
