2. I just don't trust ANY politician. As long as all ABBs vote for JK

I will vote for him and try to be patient on the points where I don't agree with his statements. By this I mean that we can discuss the ideas but we should not provide talking points to the RW.

3. Today's interview was another brick in the wall here's why:

1)It's impossible to understate the importance of his doing what I and many DUers have been screaming for someone--anyone--to do: call Timmy on his whoring real time, on air. Just as when Clark and Trippi did it, the woring stopped pronto. Kerry also put the whores on notice that if they shill for chimp they're going to get called on it for all to see right on their shows.

2) He admitted mistakes in an honest, non-melodramatic way, which stands in stark contrast to Chimp's megalomania.

3) He articulated his plan in a way that was clear without being alternately bumbling and condescending, the tow extremes chimp vacillates between.

4) He presented his plan where chimp has none.

Of course the whores will try to muddy these obvious difference, but still they were right out there for all to see, and that's all any Kerry supporter can ask for.

20. Good analysis

I too noticed that when Kerry said that he wished he could press a button and put Timmy's words up on the screen predicting a crisis in Social Security by 2001, the * stopped. Kerry is doing everything right in dealing with the media, but it is an unfair fight. They will ALWAYS puff up their little prince, *, regardless of the facts or evidence. That's why Kerry can not do this alone, as capable as he is. He needs us to make some noise about how impressive he is. How about all of us writing letters to the editors of our local papers or calling or e-mailing NBC about his impressive performance?

4. Kerry is a warrior

He does come off "certain ways", but he has the skill to handle the "typical questions"...he is tough as Dean, but less apt to "lose it" than Dean.

I LOVED the response I heard Kerry gave about a year ago when someone called him "Liberal"...He listed a bunch of things he sponsored and said, "If that makes me Liberal, then I am Liberal"

Balls-ee as hell to NOT run from the "L" word. Most politicians (even Liberal ones) run from it due to the right's effective destruction of the word.

I have been a supporter of Kerry's since watching him fight for our values in the Senate. When he put his name in the hat I felt like he had earned the right, proven himself and deserved to be the man. I dream of him winning the election this year. I don't know if anything will make me happier.

I have supported him since before he announced. My SO and I watched him announce in SC and from that moment on she was committed too. Hard to believe some folks do not see what we do.

when Bush said he was "everybody's president"? Well he lied. Kerry, I believe, WILL try to everybody's president, like Clinton did. He did alot of things I didn't agree with but imagine going into an election with the country split like it is? You have to find some position that everyone can at least feel somewhat comfortable with.

to me. He will wipe the floor with Bush in the debates.

Is he perfect? No, not at all.

Is he left of Clinton, Lieberbush and even the way Gore was run in 2000? Yes.


I think the man has the stature and the bravery to be a great president.

15. He may be all that

but he is more. Just because someone has money doesn't necessarily place them in the camp where greed and selfishness rule. He has repeatedly, for many years, fought for bills in the Senate that would help average Americans. I listen to him and am inspired. Here is an honest, intelligent man who is not afraid to actually run as himself. On his record. He explains every one of his votes in ways that make sense.

In hindsight, he, like the rest of us, would have done some things differently, but stands by his beliefs and votes of the past as having been seen as right for the country and most Americans at the time.

To not look past the money is, in my opinion, somewhat limited in scope. Like I like to say when discussing the chimp with anyone:

Look at the actions. Kerry's follow not only his beliefs, but his words. It is time for some honesty in this government.

Do I believe in everything he espouses? No, but then I can't think of a single politician in my lifetime that I have supported who hasn't disagreed with me on some subject or another. That's what made the Democratic party powerful. People with differing beliefs could come together to support a candidate that agrees with them on the general direction the country should be going, and has respect for differing attitudes. I see this in John Kerry, and am proud to be a supporter.

10. He wasn't my first choice

But I always admired him as a liberal senator, so after I cried several buckets, I got right up there for Kerry. Not as quickly as Wes Clark did, but soon thereafter. John Kerry was stupendous on MTP this morning! I'm very proud of him today.

Sen. John Kerry said he would appoint an Attorney General as different from John Ashcroft as night from day. That means we'd have someone interested in busting corruption at all levels — starting with the feds, and I understand that includes current elected officials, cough, Smirk, cough, Sneer.

Sen. Kerry has the experience to lead the type of investigation refer to, leading investigations of BCCI and Iran-Contra drug running. MANY of the same players in BCCI and Iran-Contra today are involved in the 9-11 coverup, from Poppy Bush to Bush Jr. to the bin Laden clan and Adnan Kashoggi. The corrupt horde would be running for their Swiss bank accounts — Scooter Libby would beg Rev. Moon for sanctuary and Richard Perle would emigrate to Israel to stay out of the federal penitentiary.

You want to see the BFEE frog-marched out of the White House for real? Vote for John Kerry. His team includes Amb. Joseph Wilson, who investigated the Uranium from Niger claim and who's CIA wife was exposed by the Bush White House to silence critics. His team also includes Rand Baer, a White House counter-terror expert who quit because the Bush White House puts politics ahead of the country's safety. (Richard Clarke isn't on the team, but the Truth he revealed is.) These people would ask WTF Bush Jr and crew knew and when they knew it

So, as PeteNYC says, everyone who cares about the United States should be on Kerry's team. BTW: If there's a way, I'd like dibs for putting cuffs on Cheney. To show the world I believe in the US Constitution, like John Kerry, I'd even read him his rights.

I know, he's far from perfect, thats why I didnt support him as my first candiate, but I always liked and respected him, here we have a man that some will argue is as if not more liberal than Ted Kennedy. I disagree with him on some but ya know, I disagreed with all the candiates on something.

I watched politics closely for close to 30 years and Kerry is a liberal. He's taken some heroic positions and stood up for all of us. I'm livid about the Palestinian issue but not politician is perfect. Kerry was one of the few prominent politicians who stood up for Gore during the recount.
