Iraq will degenerate into a savage, bitter civil war and the factions will try to anhialate each other. The only difference is the longer we stay the greater the consequences for the US, more American dead and more damage to our prestige on the world stage. Its a lose lose situation chimp has gotten us into. Question is, do we lose big or do we lose bigger?

1. Civil war
is what the black ops teams blowing stuff up over the last year have been trying to provoke.

Unfortunately, all the U.S./CPA seems to have done is to unite formerly rival Sunnis and Shias into a resistance force against the occupation.

2. Vote for Dennis Kucinich because he will bring the troops home
Neither Bush nor Kerry will end this war, but will try to win it by different means. We can not win in Iraq anymore than we could in Vietnam. That's the one kernel of truth that neither Bush or Kerry are willing to admit to the public.

If you want peace, vote for Kucinich.

If your state already had its primary, you can lobby the delegates to change their vote at the Convention and vote for the peace candidate. If they don't, then there is a good chance that Iraq will become a Democratic war by this time next year.

3. Does Dennis plan on walking away or is he for turning it over to the U.N.?
Why should we believe that the UN would take this nightmare over? Dennis did say that he wants out of there, but is he willing to just walk away like we did in Vietnam. Dennis's plan has a hole in it in my opinion. The only way out is to walk away and the sooner the better. Granted it was stupid from the get go and there is no face saving way out.

8. Dennis never said that walking was his plan. So why site him as the one
with the right idea. They are all afraid to take that position, but I do believe if the killing of our troops keeps up this will change. Just packing up and going home looks better every day.

4. When will we learn to live in the world???
The problem is that we are fighting a bad war -- from the beginning. Walking away isn't the answer. Fixing this country is the answer -- from the bottom up. We need to get out of the middle east and South Asia altogether. Stop support for Zionism. Leave the Balkans. We need to get off of oil as soon as possible so our interest will wane. We need to stop poisoning the environment and stealing her resources.

Until we fix the root problems, it will come up again and again and again.

10. The whole point is that we very likely can not fix this. We can die trying
but by what logical right can we put our troops in harms way with no chance of success just death..

6. I've been getting flamed for saying this for a year now.
You're right.

Iraq's rival factions will have their bloodbath, US or no US. Right now, we just give them a common enemy. But a few months or years of uniting to kill infidels/occupiers will not heal the centuries of division among Iraq's factions, nor will it change the political, ethnic and religious realities that put those factions at odds with one another.

It took decades of one of the most ruthless, despotic regimes on earth to keep the lid on that country. The lid is off the pressure cooker. The longer we stay, the worse we get burned.

7. what started with an attack on the US will end with an attack on the US
9/11 was the attack the instigated the entire PNAC plan.

They are now trying to provoke the rest of the Arab world into a state of war so they can take over the entire middle east and kill all the Muslims.

They are determined to start World War III, thinking it is good for America, good for the empire.

It will only end when the world unites to end this fiasco by attacking the United States and defeating it.

That is my dreary prediction.

The elections this fall will be moot. There will be a terror attack on the US (they're warning of this today) and the elections will be "postponed".

Just hope you can stay out of the line of fire at this point.
