2000 Exit Polls

The good news:
Kerry should do better than Gore with seniors, Naderites, democrats, republicans, whites, females, moderates, internet users, lesbians, hispanics, muslims, military, Clinton haters, unemployed. That's just a start.

And Gore received more votes than Bush did in the first place.

In 2000 Gore received:
42% of the Male vote
36% of the White Male vote
48% of the White Female vote
42% of the White vote
51% of the Senior vote
44% of the Married vote
86% of the Democrats, and 8% of the Repubs
59% of the Union Household vote
52% of the Moderate vote
70% of the Lesbian vote
47% of the Internet vote
36% of the Gun Owner vote
40% of weekly church goers
18% of the White Religous right vote

Of the 30% who get their Political News on Internet, 47% voted for Gore. The internet is bigger now. And users are better informed.

Only 52% felt Gore was honest and trustworthy.

55% felt Bush was honest and trustworthy. How many do now?

18% Voted to Oppose Clinton. But he is not a factor this time.

47% felt the military got weaker under Clinton. This is false. Now they know.

57% of Seniors prefer Drugs from Medicare, 36% Insurance companies
The most important quality (24%) is honesty/trustworthiness. How doe Bush measure up?

68% felt Clinton was responsible for the economy. At least that many feel that Bush is responsible now.

46% said protecting the environment is as important as economic growth (48%). What has Bush done for the environent, except ravage it?
