John Kerry: proof you can smack down pushy little Timmy Russert!
From apj.us's "condensed" Meet the Press transcript:
Tim: You want to sell out US foreign policy to the UN -- you are for internationalism with the UN in charge! (Ha, ha, ha -- Tim's first sputtering "They're MY issues and My spin and you'd better play MY game" moment of the week. He DOES remind us of South Park's Eric Cartman!)
ROTFLMAO -- ain't THAT the truth.

Kerry's comeback took every Tim's cheap-shot attack and shoved it back in the face of that self-important, Beltway-celeb-pseudojournalist, Sally-Quinn-fluffing, GOP-shilling little porker's face.

"Respect! Mah! Au-THO-ruh-tah!" Not any more, Timmy, you bloated, bloviating phony. Kerry just kicked your lard butt all the way from NBC's Wisconsin Avenue DC Studio Gulag to Buffalo!

1. I thought Kerry was great.
I'm not a MTP fan, but tuned in to the repeat because of an earlier post. He never backed down. He even through Timmy's words back in his face.

BTW, I love your comparison of Russert to Cartman. I'll never see him any other way again.

2. There are much tougher questions ahead though . . .
and he'd better be ready for them. No telling what you'll see.

4. lol, so now KERRY is responsible for 9/11? yeah, that's his job...
So an airport guy who went to work for BUSH's FAA learns about possible jihad attacks, and of course the logical next step is to go straight to the only people who can do something about it- the senators :eyes:

hilarious... These right-wingers are getting so desperate that I can't stop laughing at them, wondering what they will come up with next. Does anyone over the age of 2 take these people seriously anymore?

7. Hello Mr or Ms 4 poster - this one has been dealt w before
an earlier interview w this guy says he gave the info to Kerry and Kerry sent it to the right people. Only in these later Karl Rove inspired moments has he come up with this fantastic claim.
