Time Person of the Year predictions? |
|
Edited on Sun Apr-18-04 10:28 PM by tridim
I know it's early, but does anyone have any predictions as to who they'll choose this year?
Clark? Woodward? O'Neill? Bush? (yea right) Kerry? Bev Harris? ... Dean? Franken? I could go on.
My money is still on the Jersey Girls. IMO their dedication is saving America, although it's still unclear if they'll succeed. Will they give another "Whistle blowers" nod like in 2002? There are so many good choices this year. It's certainly going to be an interesting choice.
Edit: My dream is that "The Liberal" is named Time Person of The Year, but they'll never do that.

11. Hate to say it, but it's got to be Bush. |

No one has so occupied the news, and peoples thought, for good and ill, during this last year as Dubya has.
I can think of several others I'd rather get the cover, but I've no illusions.

he wins it.
If Bush wins the election, Bremer wins it.
That's my early prediction.

Most powerful VP in history. Mystery man behind the puppet. What the hel- makes him tick? A psychological profile would be scary (but who needs a profile when we've seen him in action. Started Armageddon?
