and you are absolutely right. At the bare minimum if Woodward's claims can be substantiated it is a "slam dunk", even with a republican Congress.

2. It's irrelevant if both Houses are Republican dominated. Let either a

Democrat or an Independent (you listening Jim Jeffords?) file the charges and let the public record show the studied indifference of the Republicans. Then on Election Day we clean house -- literally.

for DUers to write letters, and call, and PUSH our Dems in office to do just that.

Both threads sank rather rapidly.

So, I would suggest that if you think our Dem leaders are "wimps", possibly it's because we aren't really all that interested in expressing our wishes to them?
