The Internet is not the American "media".... |
|
It is my opinion and my observation that the press/media are much slower to report "authentic" news than many websites. It's not as if any reporter can write a story and get it on the front page of their paper the next day. The same applies to television, although much less so. The editors of the "news" will let it out drip by drip but will not usually threaten their own credibility by putting out a story where they do not have certain types of sources to back them up.
For example, the reports in Woodward's book are big news but the "puzzle" will be put together here on "the underground" before it is by the newspapers or television. You are the frontline reporters. You do the research and you have editorial freedom to express your opinion anytime you wish. Eventually the story is exposed and the mainstream media will pick it up. However, by that time, you are on another "big story". That is he nature of todays modern news gathering.

1. "Eventually the story is exposed" |

Kind of optimistic evaluation. It seems to me that all stories that are usually branded "conspiracy" very seldom make it to the mainstream media. But not because they are more implausible than the BS that is usually sold in the press.
