Woodward revealed the chief GOP strategy for 2004, wrapped it it shiny paper, and handed it to the Dem leadership on a silver tray--the Saudis are spiking oil prices now only to have an equally dramatic drop when the moment is right for Chimp.

It's this simple: If chimp gets away with this he wins, especially if he throws in Osama and/or WMD. That's it. It's over.

EVERY dem the country should call write email EVERY dem in a leadership position--especially Kerry, Little Tommy, Whiny Nancy, and Terry--now. Then call your Dem congressperson, governor and senators if you have them.

Given the track record of current Dem leadership, they'll do nothing, and we all know it. We'll have do this, folks--because they won't. It's either that or losing. Your choice.

1. It would help if Woodward were someone anyone believed.

His post-Watergate life has been so questionable that some of us are even questioning his Watergate findings, wondering if he made them up and got lucky.

Who remembers his deathed interview with William Casey?

And even though I agree with him on JFK, I know a lot of DUers don't.

It's easy to dismiss charges from a tainted journalist. There is no reason the Democrats would go out on a limb on this guy's word. They may even believe it is a trap. Picture the White House feeding Woodward bad info just so the Democrats would make a stink and then be embarrassed when Bush could prove it wrong. They did that to James Hatfield, remember? They tried something similar with Al Gore and the debate tapes.

Write Dems, get them to investigate, but if we start shouting IMPEACHMENT on the words of Bob Woodward, we won't get far. He's got no evidence, and mixed credibility.

General Myers confirmed the part of the story yesterday about showing the war plans to the Saudi ambassador.

Rice has admitted the 700 million was diverted from Afghanistan but says it's legal.

There's plenty of substantiation for these claims.

Clarke, O'Niel, numerous at-the-time reports in the alternative and international press, corroborate Woodward's account.

I share your reservations about Woodward--he's a media whore of the first order. So why do I believe him this time? I believe him because he is a weasel: He's jumping off the sinking ship he helped creare with Bush at War. He doesn't want history to record that he was one of the people that enabled the most immoral presidency in UShistory. This book is his "correction" of the book length error he produced in '02.
