1. Because he's trying to get the whole party behind him?
Big tent, you know. Not everyone hates Lieberman.

2. Lieberman is popular in Fla, and reminds them of ElectionTheft2000

Also, Gore avoided campaigning with Clinton in order to avoid "dirtying" himself. Now, Gore is a very clean private citizen.

You've taken purist thought to a whole new level

14. OY vey!
No, it's not true. I only said "Lieberman is popular in Fla" because I'm a real kidder. The truth is that Gore picked Lieberman because Lieberman isn't popular anywhere.

12. And plenty of Jews in FL....
they need to group them under the same banner as Kerry...

Unfortunately, it would suck if Kerry decides on LIEberman as his
running mate... :eyes:

11. I think that leaders
are supposed to lead. High time we have a leader who includes others in his tent.

13. Why?
Why is it that it's Lieberman that 'represents the Jews' for the Democratic Party?

Why not Schumer?

Holy Joe needs to go

16. Because he wants to win FL.
Joe was extremely popular with a specific demographic in FL (which is why Gore picked him to be VP in 2000).

It looks like Kerry wants to win FL.

Good for him.

19. Uh, sangho
I was asking a question not making an assertion

This is all symbolic dog and pony bullshit anyway.

to infer that I was assigning a leader to jews is a tough stretch.
