Brokaw to sign off on December 1
http://www.cnn.com/2004/SHOWBIZ/TV/04/19/brokaw.reut/index.html

Has anyone else been noticing a change in Brokaw's voice and speach pattern over the past few years. Not to mention that when they have him standing for parts of the news he shifting quite a bit while he's talking? Sorta reminds me of Micheal J. Fox's demeanor right before he announced he has Parkinson. Perhaps Tom does as well?

2. I guess he's probably too ashamed to continue after his, ..........
"In a couple of days, we're gonna OWN that country." remark he made during the Invasion of Iraq last year.

One second thought, naw, that's probably not it. Brokaw has no shame.

3. Maybe he's had enough of the fear and intimidation Dan Rather referred
to in his interview in Great Britain.

4. There's been plenty of times
I wondered if he wasn't drunk. Sometimes his mush-mouthedness borders on the incoherent.

6. so that explains his bizarre delivery
before and currently. My husband can't stand him or Rather. I like Peter Jennings much better, myself. He doesn't seem as arrogant and sure that his is the only opinion.

7. I hate Brokaw, but Brian Williams is worse.
Williams is the one who used to fume ON THE AIR if Clinton as 30 seconds late arriving at the podium. That's where that crap about "Clinton Time" got started.

Sanctimonious asshole.
