1. Of course he supports Bush!!!
1) They're old business partners (1988, vs. Russia)
2) Bush protected Osama's family (shipped them all out right after 9/11)
3) Bush has put little to no effort into making him pay for committing 9/11

2. True on all of that, but I thought Bin Laden actually commented?
Anyone have that link?

3. No, I doubt it
It would go against his "all Americans are evil" doctrine.

4. No...not bin Laden himself that I've heard of, anyway.
It was the videotape from the group claiming responsibility for the Madrid bombings.
http://www.abc.net.au/news/newsitems/s1068257.htm

The statement said it supported US President George W Bush in his re-election campaign and would prefer him to win in November rather than the Democratic candidate John Kerry, as it was not possible to find a leader "more foolish than you , who deals with matters by force rather than with wisdom".

In comments addressed to Mr Bush, the group said "Kerry will kill our nation while it sleeps because he and the Democrats have the cunning to embellish blasphemy and present it to the Arab and Muslim nation as civilisation".

"Because of this we desire you to be elected."

5. Kerry's investigations of BCCI put Bin Laden's brother under arrest.

Kerry also wrote one of the first books on terror back in 1997, The New War.

Kerry has also called for all nations to open their financial records to terror tracking within the first 100 days he takes office, and after that he starts naming countries and names.

No way does Bin Laden want to face Kerry. Kerry does not believe in "Holy Wars" like Bush and Co. do, so he can't be as easily manipulated.

8. Someone terrorists endorse Bush, others Kerry.
A group associated with al Qaeda and the attacks in Spain was paraphrased by a Reuters story in March:

The statement said it supported President Bush in his reelection campaign, and would prefer him to win in November rather than the Democratic candidate John Kerry, as it was not possible to find a leader "more foolish than you (Bush), who deals with matters by force rather than with wisdom."

and

Kerry will kill our nation while it sleeps because he and the Democrats have the cunning to embellish blasphemy and present it to the Arab and Muslim nation as civilization. --example link

The author of the Reuters story, which you can still find http://216.239.39.104/search?q=cache:iqNI6IkqrcUJ:www.reuters.com/newsArticle.jhtml%3Ftype%3DworldNews%26storyID%3D4591197+%22more+foolish+than+you+(Bush),+&hl=en&ie=UTF-8">cached on Google is improbably named "Opheera McDoom." However, it appears as if she is a real reporter for Reuters.

However, terrorists appear to be a fickle lot; they are not politically united in favor of anyone. Hezbollah has indirectly supported John Kerry. HAMAS is organizing an anti-Bush rally.

For purposes of nostalgia, here's an article you likely won't see repeated this year. From October 24, 2000: Muslims Endorse Bush for President.

The American Muslim Political Coordinating Council PAC said Bush has shown "elevated concern" about issues its community holds dear: stopping the government's use of secret evidence against Arab and Muslim immigrants, and its profiling of Arab-Americans at airports.

And what do you know? It just so happens that even today, President Bush still has an http://www.dhs.gov/dhspublic/display?theme=29">elevated concern, of sorts. Another fine day in the yellow....
