I read recently that Department of Defense is desperately in need of people with advanced computer skills. You watch. If/when draft comes back, people like me (48 yrs. old, highly skilled computer engineer) will also get tapped.

But anyone who is retired military and under the age of 60 is considered "retired reserve" and could be mobilized into active duty by the Secretary of Defense.

This applies to my father, a retired navy guy, who'll be 55 in August.
