Karl Rove's Inoculation Tactic:: Saudis get to keep high gas prices |
|
Edited on Mon Apr-19-04 02:53 PM by seventhson
Karl Rove is master of the "Inoculation" tactic: If you know something is going to cause trouble then you "leak" it in a controlled way a little at a time in a way that can be used to your advantage.
In the case of the late great suicided James Hatfield, Rove fed him the Bush community service for cocaine possession story in a way that minimized the damage and allowed the story to play out to Bush's advantage.
Hatfield was fed the story by Rove and two other Bush operatives (whom I believe were complicit in Hatfield's "suicide" after he wrote the Online Journal article about Osama in July 2001 planning to attack US targets with planes laden with explosives - another possible "inoculation" story). Hatfield had been in prison and could easily be discredited and certain details were clearly made up by Rove to make the whole story appear untrue. By allowing the story through an author acting as an unknowing agent of the BFEE, the story could be vented out slowly and controlled in a way to make it seem untrue or simply ugly democratic witch-hunting politics.
It seems to me that the Saudi gas price story is similar. Odious if true, all the Saudis have to do to help Bush is NOT lower production -- they can then not only profit from the story but also prove they are not in Bush's pocket (or vice-versa). The story looks like political bullshit "leaked" in a controlled way by Woodward (a former Naval intelligence operative and still Yale secret society - Book and Snake - member) to help Kerry but works ultimately to inoculate Bush and let them suck as many profits as possible out of us (killing two birds with one stone and "inoculating" the general public against the possibility that the story is true).
Neat trick.
Karl Rove's Inoculation Politics hard at work.
Watch for it in the months to come. The terrorist threats warned about for the summer are part of the same game plan. You could bet on it.

and the terror threats will be used to scare people away from the polls in November. Past polling shows the GOP benefits when there is lower voter turnout. KKKarl Rove is so crooked.

2. Problem with this theory |
|
The problem with this theory is that, unless the Saudis lower gas prices, Bush will have to run in an economy that is getting worse. Why would Rove want that?
It is quite believable that the Saudis try to tamper with American elections by controlling gas prices. I'm not certain, but as I recall, gas prices rose tremendously in the summer before the 2000 election to the detriment of the Democrats. Gas prices may have gone down somewhat in the fall as the election approached. Has anyone researched that?
Also, if not Rove, who could be the source of this information? Bush himself (a slip of the tongue), or maybe Powell or someone close to Powell?
