After exhausting all his lies Bush tries a novel approach: THE TRUTH
It's been suggested that Bush might do ok if he just came out and admitted the real motives behind the war. It's likely many Americans would readily support the administration's Imperial designs - criminal or not - providing they assure our wealth and dominance. I'm starting to wonder if these recent statements about "changing the world" are trial balloons for this new tact.

At this point with all the shifting rationales exposed as lies, maybe they figure they've got nothing to lose and might as well "shoot the moon" by coming clean. If they're lucky and it strikes a chord with a nationalistic and paranoid America, they could go from cowardly liars to bold visionaries, overnight. Or maybe, now that we're in a somewhat intractable situation with much of the world arrayed against us, the Bushies hope Americans will rally behind them because there's no choice now but to follow the PNAC agenda to it's final solution.

I don't know... I think I'm having one of those days where I just make shit up.

1. but that's not the truth.
the truth is they know the oil's running out & we need to control it. its all in a triangle from mosul to riyadh, about the size of indiana.

the sauds control half of it, the kuwaitis have a chunk, and now we do, or our puppets shortly will.

bush may buy his own bullshit, but cheney doesn't.

3. Bush and his administration has told so many lies
that they don't know what the truth is anymore.

4.  "that they don't know what the truth is anymore."
Does anybody? I'm beginning to wonder if there is any such thing as "The Truth".

5. Ok I dig, truth is subjective, but
this thread isn't about what the truth is, it's exploring the idea that BushCo could drop the pretense and go for broke with "Yeah we lied, but we did it for you and the future security of the USA", or some deluded bullshit like that.
