Anyone else think Woodward made a point of the tapes

on 60 Minutes to both verify his story and protect himself? It's the old, if anything happens to me the tapes will be released? I notice the WH is treading more politely on Woodward than they did Clarke. They don't deny the Bush quotes. I think the fact that they don't know what sources are on those tapes has something to do with their response.

4. Condi and Powell are denying

the presentation and interpetation of events. Scott McCellen yesterday said the presidential quotes were accurate.And it is very bizzarre that the Bush Campaign is promoting the book on it's website. The $700 million is a big story and so are some of the quotes.
