US Breaks Geneva Conv./Sets Precedent then gets PO'ed When Others Follow!
""President Bush's national security advisor says the United States will not negotiate with hostage-takers holding Americans in Iraq.

Condoleezza Rice says the Bush administration will do all it can to obtain the release of the hostages. But she makes clear there will be no negotiations with their captors. "The president of the United States does not negotiate with terrorists," she said.""

Now, isn't it both really sad and horribly ironic that the morons in the White House and at the Pentagon can take hostages, move them to a foreign land and hold them indefinately in front of the entire world but kicks and screams like a the bastard children they are when someone else returns the favor?????????

I said it way back then, once we start taking hostages, we set a precedent and have no other choice but to take the blame when others treat our soldiers with the same action!

Bush, you still suck man.......worse and worse each and every day!

2. This US has done this for a long time....
in the UN. International Court, Kyoto, etc.... But remember, we know what's best for the world. Those that attempt to impose their beliefs on our infalible methods are terrarists.

3. what good is morality if it does not apply universally?
us foreign policy creates grievances that increase support for terrorism by insisting on these types of double standards. to make matters worse the government and most media tell us the double standard does not exist.
