Just like they went after O'Neill and Clarke, they are now going after Woodward. Colin Powell has come forward and more or less called him a liar. If they can discredit a journalist of Woodward's stature, it is a warning shot across the bow of the American press and media. Don't doubt for a second that the right-wing is in control.
They have pulled out the long knives on Woodward, it appears. At he same time, they are pretending they want people to read the book. Because it shows Bush as a strong, decisive leader, they say. But, do they really? If you can't dazzle them with brilliance, baffle them with bullshit....

This book is psyops, it is designed to strengthen bushco's hand. Watch what kinds of "controversy" it stirs up. What kinds of questions are being asked (and answered)? Watch how the lines of debate shift.
You'll know who Woodward serves by what falls out in the next week or so.
