Well, Poppy lied about a lot of things, but the one that mattered was about TAXES.

What does it take to be fired or impeached these days.

And it wasn't even policy.

But Bush lies about everything. It would be easier to keep track of the number of times he tells the truth.

3. Because the Christian Right didn't really believe in Bush I

The Christian Right and their supporters love this Bush, they didn't really trust his father. Plus...from 88-92, there was no 24-hour Republican News Network (Fox) to spin everything Bush II says.
