"He sounds like a crazy person!" Imus re Bush*. |
|
"He's in so far over his head." "he needs to be in AA meetings, not the White House". "Higher power...I know all about that, I've been to AA meetings for years - just SHUT UP about it."
Imus is still shaky about Kerry (do we want to hand him the keys?), but it is OVER with AWOL - that gig is up.
He also ragged on Russert for treating Kerry like he was in the Hanoi Hilton on Sunday. Russert on the show later this am.

So the folks that have a mood disorder all go to the mood guru?

Altho Imus portrays himself as a cool, "I don't care" kind of guy, he is the most phony, egotistical person I have ever heard on the air waves. He keeps saying Kerry is "his guy," but he never has said one positive thing about Kerry. Every mention of Kerry goes something like this: "you know, he's my guy, BUT....." And, he always has a BUT. I wish he would do Kerry a favor and not endorse him. He is always putting Kerry down. Imus displays NO critical thinking skills and reminds me of a 7th grader desperately trying to seem cool, but missing the mark entirely.

9. Yeah, I noticed that this morning |
|
he always has that "but" in there. Imus makes me nervous...never know where you stand with the guy 'cause he always panders to his guests. Just yesterday he was saying how much he hated "big fat Tim Russert," and then I turn it on and there he is pandering to him.
Imus just goes with what ever the flavor is for the day.

the guy is a joke. Don't like his opinion? Wait 5 minutes and you will. His "convictions" have a shorter life span than Hamas leaders.

4. Reminder: Imus is an entertainer, not a king-maker. He blows with the |
|
prevailing wind of opinion depending upon polls. His job is to sell advertising time.

The only good thing about his program is the range of people who call in and comment. Why do law-makers and other semi-influential people think Imus is a god to whom they must pay tribute? I cannot understand how he stays on the air....well, back to CNN

Thanks, it is very cathartic to be able to post here, and read others' posts...I live in far-south Louisiana, which is very Catholic, right wing, so felt as if I was totally alone, until I found this posting site, Air America Radio, and other liberal websites. Thank goodness for the internet!
